Plan your journey to Cambridge with ease.
For international travel to the United Kingdom, we recommend flying into one of London’s three most popular airports: London Heathrow Airport (LHR), London Gatwick Airport (LGW), or London Stansted Airport (STN). All three airports offer excellent connections to Cambridge, ensuring an efficient journey to Cambridge Union and St John’s College, University of Cambridge, where the conference will be held. To avoid delays, we encourage you to secure any necessary visas as soon as possible, and if assistance is needed in planning your travel, please reach out to us.
For ground transportation to Cambridge, there are several convenient options. The National Express airport shuttle bus is a recommended choice, offering direct services from major airports to Cambridge. Alternatively, trains from London King’s Cross Station (KGX) or London Liverpool Street Station (LST) provide fast connections, with journeys to Cambridge Station (CBG) taking less than an hour. For those who prefer private transport, taxis and Ubers are also available directly from major airports. Once in Cambridge, the city is highly walkable, though taxis and Ubers remain readily available for added convenience.
For hotel accommodation in Cambridge, we have partnered with the University Arms Hotel—the city’s premier historic and luxurious lodging—to secure an exclusive discount for conference guests using our Group Reservation Link. Located just a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride from Cambridge Union and St John’s College, the hotel provides an ideal base for your stay in Cambridge. For alternative arrangements, please see Visit Cambridge, which provides a full list of accommodation options.
