Explore The Theme

Flames of the Big Four, Shining with Many More...

. . . speaks to the powerful forces shaping Africa today. While countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Egypt continue to dominate headlines through foreign investment and startup growth, this year’s conference expands the lens—spotlighting the “Many More” nations driving progress through resilience, innovation, and leadership. These stories will unfold through four core subthemes: Economic Resilience and Market Access, Infrastructure and Innovation, Human Capital and Education, and Governance and Regional Autonomy.  Explore the full scope of the theme in our conference concept note.

Speakers

This year, we're proud to host over 35 speakers whose work is reshaping Africa’s future across sectors and borders. From visionary ministers transforming national economies to cutting-edge entrepreneurs breaking new ground in fintech and health innovation, and from globally recognised academics to strategic leaders in development and investment—our lineup reflects the energy and excellence driving the continent forward. Together, they’ll lead conversations on everything from inclusive growth and regional trade to technological sovereignty and youth empowerment. On the right, you’ll see just a snapshot of the distinguished voices joining us in Cambridge this May. The full list of speakers will be released soon on the Sessions & Speakers page. In the meantime, follow us on social media to keep up with speaker announcements as they happen.
