About Africa Over Coffee

Africa Over Coffee ASCU’s signature semi-formal dialogue series, established to facilitate open, reflective, and intellectual engagement within the African community at the University of Cambridge. The series regularly convenes scholars, political and opinion leaders, policymakers, and members of the Cambridge academic community. Its objectives are to provide a safe and structured forum for candid dialogue, to serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and constructive debate, to strengthen the interface between academic scholarship and African leadership, to inspire emerging leaders, and to contribute collaboratively to the development of sustainable pathways for the continent’s future. Each session is designed as a moderated, semi-formal conversation centred on authenticity, informed perspectives, and meaningful exchange.
